Assign Phones to Users in Consolidated

 This article is going to help you assign a Consolidated phone end-users. This consists of finding the phone you want to use, finding an open line, and assigning that number to the phone.  To manage these accounts, please log into https://myproconnect.consolidated.net before continuing.

Locate The Phone You Want To Use

Start by locating the phone you want to assign. You can do that by going to the Dashboard > Numbers & Devices group in the left pane > Devices. Here, you can search for the phone you have by its MAC Address.

Make note of the Device Name, you will need it for the later section. You may rename the device to the user's name to help identify it better.

Assign Number To User

Now that you have physical phone you want to use, you need to find an open number to use and assign it to the desired phone. You can do that by going to the Dashboard > Users > find an open/spare line > click on User Profile in the Management section > click on the Ellipsis on top right > Edit User > fill out the form’s required fields > click Save button.

Assign The Phone To The User

The last step is to link the phone to the number. In the user's profile click on Devices on the left pane > click on the Gear on the top right > in the Device field, locate your phone by name (from the previous section) > click on the Save button.

Test Number and Update Active Directory

Place some calls to ensure that the number is working. Update Active Directory with the user's number.
