Basic setup guide to set up the Dell P3225DE monitor with integrated dock functionality. Please see last page for necessary cables.

  1. Remove cables and Monitor base from the top housing and remove protective cover from base, keeping the power cabled and USB-C to USB-c near by as we will need them later. (Optionally, if you want to link to a second display, keep the display port cable nearby as well)
  2. Remove top insert, revealing monitor and stand neck. Remove the neck from housing and wrapper.
  3. Grab the neck and base. Flip the base over and insert onto the neck. Tighten screw shown below.

  1. Remove monitor from protective cover and fixate to the stand, making sure the neck mount fits into the groves in the back of the monitor. (Do not remove the orange plug unless you plan to connect a secondary display later)
  2. Connect the power cable to the monitor
  3. Connect the USB-C you set aside earlier to the USB-C port on the back
  4. OPTIONAL. If you have a wired network connection, feel free to plug your Ethernet cable into the back of the monitor. Likewise, if you wish to set up a second display, remove the orange plug (this is the display out port) and connect the provided Display port cable to Display out.
  5. While behind the monitor, you can also connect your keyboard and mouse.A black computer monitor with wiresAI-generated content may be incorrect.
  6. Power on monitor with power button. (Not the joystick) Use the Joystick to hit ok on the first 2 pop ups. On the screen asking to enabled charging, click up to select YES and click the joystick in to select option.
  7. Connect your laptop to the USB-C cable you connected.
  8. Remove film from the bottom left corner and click the port button to reveal front USB-C and USB-A port.
